Hello Everyone, 

I’m starting a ten-year journey from the end of 2020 until the end of 2030 to become the first $1 Dollar Millionaire. One-million dollars, one dollar at a time, from the shared energy and generosity of one million people. 

The goal is simple: each participant will give exactly one dollar. No more, no less. 

Any participation of more than one dollar will be immediately given back to my community in the form of books, gifts, or donations, so others can share in the wealth. Donors can sponsor someone else’s dollar contribution in support of those who do not have a dollar to give. 

Because our wealth comes from our connection to one another, the greater mission is in gathering our names (either real, nicknames or online monikers) as a record of those joining in this collective dream.

This social experiment is borne of the desire to form community out of all walks of life, connecting all those I know and love, and those I have yet to meet. I want to fall back into the digital and real arms of one million people and see who catches me. 

As the dollars find their way to me, I want to hear stories of what your dollar means to you, why you’re choosing to share, and a little bit about who you are. I’d love to hear your dreams, as well. 

I can’t wait to see where this quest takes me. Here’s to our very first year together.
